We studied the comparison data on "sitting only", "standing only", and "standing and sitting" while working on a computer for 2 hours in order to see which posture gives the healthy effect, and found out that combining 1 hour of sitting with 10 to 20 mins.

Concentration level and drowsiness are closely connected. Sit/Stand working and standing work have almost equal incidences of drowsiness, and both are thought to promote more concentration than continuous seated work.

Adding standing work improves the symptoms of lower back and hip pain.

We compared 2 hours of ‘sitting only’ work with work that included hourly 10 minute periods of standing work. Overall, the inclusion of standing work helped to reduce symptoms such as lower back pain.

The addition of standing work  gives rise to various health benefits

We had conducted an experiment in which workers performed task in seated position for one week and then added standing work to their normal routine in the following week. As a result, it became clear that addition of standing work leads to a better sleep quality, less physical and mental stress, and more enthusiasm at work.

The desk can be adjusted freely to suit a worker's needs and fixed at any desired height. When lowering, it will stop in a fixed position before slowing moving lower.

The edge of the desk is rounded to reduce burden on the arms.
It maintains comfort in both sitting and standing positions.

The desk has a sloped edge that can be leaned against when standing. It is designed to reduce burden on the arms even when a worker leans on it to write or use a computer.

Drowsiness

Safety | Reverse Feature

Immediately detects when it contacts an object while in motion.
Automatic safety devices installed in all the tables.

The up/down function stops automatically when the table comes in contact with an unknown object. A safety device is installed which returns the table to a height about an inch from where the object is detected. With an energy-saving stand-by power of 0.1 watts, it's designed to have a long life span of up to 10,000 up-down performance.
