What is Okamura Way?
Okamura Way comprises Okamura’s Mission (our management approach), the Okamura Declaration (what we want to be), and Okamura Basics (the values we hold dear). At the core of all of these is our perspective “Where people can thrive.”

The term “Where people can thrive” expresses the idea that each person works at their best when they demonstrate their individuality and expertise, as well as a state of co-creation and the creation of new value through good relationships with all the people and organizations around them.
In other words, if each of us can make the most of ourselves, and make the most of each other, then our work, our company, and society as a whole will come alive. At Okamura Manufacture (Okamura), which was founded jointly by young engineers who’d lost their jobs after the war, all employees are equal and part of a team with the shared goal of making the company prosperous. “Cooperative Industry" represents the philosophy that has been in place since the founding of the company: to produce great results through the cooperation of all these equals.
