The Senganen Garden is a designated National Site of Scenic Beauty that was originally constructed as a villa for the Shimadzu clan, which ruled a domain in this area early in the Edo period. We renovated the second floor of the commercial building inside the garden for use as the head office of the company. Its outstanding features include the office layout taking advantage of the majestic scenery affording views of Sakurajima and Kinko Bay, the advanced office created inside a purely Japanese-style building, and environmentally-friendly features including the abundant use of wood grown in the prefecture for the interior wooden finishing and furniture, and conversion to 100% LED lights for the ceiling lighting. Furthermore, we have constructed a security intercom system covering an area over 300 meters within the garden for the purposes of office security and customer service.
