nergy Saving Lighting Design Award 2012
JA Tokyo Musashi was created in 1998 as a result of the merger of the five agricultural cooperatives of Mitaka, Kodaira, Kokubunji, Koganei, and Musashino. At that time, there was a small head office, but subsequently the core operations were performed by distributing them between the head office and three branches. Partly due to the fact that the existing space grew cramped because of increases in the number of departments and employees, the decision was made to bring the operations together.
For the new head office, a variety of environmentally friendly functions and innovations were introduced, and the "Next Office Lighting System" was installed in work areas. Using high-performance LEDs and an automatic lighting program, the brightness changes in sync with circadian rhythms, the biorhythms of our bodies over a one-day period. The result is a healthy and comfortable work environment.
